Try to check changes on local machine.
Change some settings in config.xml and then directly launch any .swf (CS3 or CS4). If you don’t see anything (empty background) so you broke XML. Maybe some tags aren’t closed or some parameters have inappropriate values.
Also you should have images. Download demo images.

First, thank you for this, it’s a really great tool.

I can change the settings in config, but none of my changes in Flash appear.

I’m using CS3, so I have to use the galleryCS3-ver3_0_3.fla. But when I rename the file galleryCS3-ver3_0_3.swf to gallery.swf, nothing opens in index.html. Also, if I alter the index.html file to use the originally named galleryCS3-ver3_0_3.swf, nothing happens. It seems that I’m stuck with the original Flash objects from the CS4 gallery.swf.

Am I missing something on how to publish the CS3 file?

1. Open gallery.fla
2. Find in Library, in folder CONTROLS – ASSETS, simple button with name gallery
3. Double click on it in Library.

One ?, On the navigation how can I add the word “menu” in place of the image of the 4 small boxes?

Почему-то не работает скрипт в CS4

Создаю новый файл, AS3.

В точности копирую код, как в CODE вашего демо, в первый (и единственный) кадр первого (и единственного) слоя, получаю две ошибки:

1120: Access of undefined property Linear.
1120: Access of undefined property Sine.

Добавляю в код строки:
import gs.*;
import gs.easing.*;

ошибки исчезают, но текст все равно не выводится.

В чем секрет?

Maybe you do something wrong, because gallery distributes in two versions : CS3 and CS4. Simply open gallery.fla in CS4. You shouldn’t have any problems.
